Meet Willie Moore
Pro Golfer & PGA Professional
Willie Moore was introduced to golf at the young age of 11 with him caddying for his father at the Tarras Golf Course in Central Otago. Instantly hooked on the game, in his teenage years he played most of his golf at Cromwell where he went to high school.
Dreaming of one day becoming a Pro Golfer in 2010 he turned that dream into a reality and moved to Melbourne to expand his golfing horizons and become a Tour Pro.
Growing The Game In Australia

Once in Melbourne, he focused on a PGA Traineeship under the Australian PGA and therefore could play professional tournaments and gain experience working in the golf industry.
While living in Melbourne and following his dream Willie played the Pro-Am circuit in Victoria. His tournament highlights during this time were playing in the Victorian Open, Western Australian Open & Western Australian PGA tournaments. He also got to play in the NZ Open.

A Passion For Teaching
Willie came to realise his passion was working at a club helping golfers enjoy the game more – whether it be through coaching, club-fitting, or simply booking a tee time.
In 2014 Willie returned to New Zealand and transferred his membership with the Australian PGA to the New Zealand PGA and started working as the Head Teaching Professional at The Hills Golf Course in Arrowtown where he spent a year.

Family Run With A Cracking Team
When the position of Director of Golf at Cromwell Golf Club became available in 2015, Willie took the opportunity to move back to his roots with his young family and set up his own business, where he can put more into helping people enjoy playing golf.

Together him and his team now run the driving range, golf shop and offer a series of lessons to help you up your game!
